**CALAMBA CITY, Laguna** — Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal led the blessing and inauguration of a newly constructed multipurpose building in Barangay 4, Calamba City, Laguna, providing a dedicated facility for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and senior citizens in the community.

The new facility is expected to serve as a venue for youth-related activities, programs, and initiatives, while also providing senior citizens with additional space for gatherings and community events.

Mayor Rizal emphasized that the building will help improve services for young people and provide greater opportunities for programs and activities intended for the city’s elderly residents.

“Dito mas mapaglilingkuran ang ating mga kabataan at mas mabibigyang-puwang ang mga programa at pagtitipon para sa ating mga minamahal na nakatatanda.”

He also expressed his gratitude to Calamba taxpayers, highlighting the importance of public funds in supporting infrastructure projects that directly benefit local communities.

“Maraming salamat sa ating mga taxpayers na patuloy na nagtitiwala sa ating pamahalaan. Ang bawat gusaling naitatayo ay bunga ng buwis na ibinabalik natin sa mamamayan sa pamamagitan ng mga proyektong may tunay na pakinabang sa komunidad.”

The inauguration underscores the city government’s efforts to provide accessible and functional public facilities that support community development and strengthen services for different sectors of society.

Mayor Rizal summed up the initiative with a message highlighting the administration’s commitment to delivering tangible benefits to Calambeños.

“Serbisyong ramdam, pasilidad na pakikinabangan, at pag-unlad na sama-samang tinatamasa!”
