CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — The City of Calamba has earned recognition from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) as the Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit (LGU) with Special Citation in the Component City Category, marking a significant achievement in the city’s efforts to promote business growth and economic development under the leadership of Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal.

The recognition highlights the city’s initiatives to foster a business environment that encourages fair opportunities, innovation, efficient governance, and investment from businesses of all sizes.

Mayor Rizal emphasized that the award reflects the city government’s continuing commitment to creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurs and investors while opening more opportunities for Calambeños.

He also underscored the importance of supporting businesses from their establishment to their continued growth, recognizing their role in strengthening the local economy and generating opportunities for residents.

The recognition reinforces Calamba City’s efforts to maintain a competitive and investment-friendly environment that supports entrepreneurs, attracts investors, and contributes to sustainable economic progress.

Mayor Rizal reiterated the city government’s vision of ensuring that business growth translates into tangible benefits for the people of Calamba.

“Negosyong umuunlad, ekonomiyang lumalago, Calambeñong nakikinabang!“
