QUEZON — Arestado ang isang 53-anyos na ginang matapos makuha sa kanyang posesyon ang iligal na droga sa isinagawang anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation ng Unisan Municipal Police Station dakong 1:03 ng hapon nitong linggo Oktubre 4, 2026 sa may Brgy. Caigdal, bayan ng Unisan.
Kinilala ang suspek sa alyas na @Ellen, 53 anyos, may-asawa, OFW, at residente ng Brgy. San Juan, Cainta, Rizal.
Isinagawa ng Intel Personnel ng Unisan PNP ang operasyon sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto sa ginang at pagkakarekober ng dalawang pakete ng hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang timbang na 104.9 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng P713,320.00 base sa Standard Drug Price.
Nabawi rin ang 12 piraso ng 1,000 pesos bill bilang buy-bust money.na ginamit ng poseour buyer, at 5 pang pirasong 1,000 pesos bill ang nakuhang pera mula sa suspek.
Gumamit din ang mga operatiba ng Alternative Recording Device (ARD) bilang bahagi ng dokumentasyon ng operasyon.
“Patuloy nating paiigtingin ang ating mga operasyon laban sa ilegal na droga,ang bawat operasyon ay hakbang upang maprotektahan ang ating mga komunidad at mailayo ang ating mga kababayan, lalo na ang kabataan, sa masamang epekto ng ilegal na droga,” pahayag ni Provincial Director PCOL Romulo A. Albacea.
Kasalukuyang.nasa kostudiya ng Unisan PNP at nakakulong ang suspek habang inihahanda ang mga kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11, Article II ng Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 para sa inquest proceedings sa Office of the Provincial Prosecutor.
