CALAMBA CITY, LAGUNA — Four major community development projects were formally inaugurated in Barangay Mabato by Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal, marking another milestone in the city government’s efforts to improve local infrastructure and provide livelihood support.

The projects include road concreting, the construction of a mini gymnasium, and the reconstruction of a covered court, all aimed at improving community facilities and providing residents with better spaces for public activities and gatherings.

Also highlighted during the inauguration was the turnover of ₱500,000 in financial assistance to the Mabato Coffee and High-Value Crops (HVC) Agriculture Cooperative to support its livelihood and agricultural initiatives.

Mayor Rizal emphasized the importance of bringing infrastructure development and economic opportunities directly to communities across the city.

“Patuloy nating inilalapit ang mga proyektong pang-imprastraktura at suportang pangkabuhayan sa bawat barangay upang mas mapabuti ang serbisyo, oportunidad, at pamumuhay ng ating mga kababayan.”

The projects form part of the city government’s continuing efforts to strengthen barangay facilities, support local agricultural enterprises, and promote community development through infrastructure investments and livelihood assistance.
