CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — The Calamba City government continues to distribute third- and fourth-quarter social pension benefits to senior citizens while providing financial assistance and medical guarantee letters to residents in need, Mayor Roseller H. Rizal said.

The city government’s social pension distribution is ongoing across barangays, with Rizal personally visiting Barangay Makiling to ensure the orderly delivery of benefits to elderly residents. Payouts were also conducted for senior citizens in Barangays San Juan and Sampiruhan.

“Tuloy-tuloy ang pamamahagi ng 3rd at 4th Quarter Social Pension para sa ating mga mahal na Senior Citizens mula sa Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Calamba.”

“Personal tayong nagtungo sa Brgy. Makiling upang tiyakin ang maayos  na daloy ng payout para sa ating mga lolo at lola. Kasabay rin ngayong araw ang pamamahagi sa mga Senior Citizens ng Brgy. San Juan at Sampiruhan.”

Rizal said the local government remains committed to providing assistance to senior citizens in recognition of their contributions and sacrifices to the community.

“Patuloy nating sisikapin na maihatid ang serbisyong nararapat para sa ating mga nakatatanda. Ang kanilang kapakanan ay mahalaga, at ang bawat tulong na kanilang natatanggap ay pagkilala sa kanilang mga sakripisyo at ambag sa ating komunidad.”

“Serbisyong may malasakit, para sa ating mga minamahal na Senior Citizens!”

Senior citizens from other barangays were advised to wait for the official announcement of their respective payout schedules.

“Abangan po ang annoucement kung kailan ang schedule ng inyong barangay.”

Meanwhile, the city government continues to provide financial assistance to residents seeking support for various needs, including hospitalization, laboratory tests, medicines, burial expenses and other concerns. Guarantee letters for hospitalization are also being issued to help eligible residents with their medical expenses.

“Muling nagsagawa ng Financial Assistance Distribution para sa ating mga kababayan na lumapit sa ating opisina upang humingi ng tulong para sa iba’t ibang pangangailangan, kabilang ang hospitalization, laboratory tests, gamot, solicitations, burial assistance, at iba pa.”

“Kasabay nito, namahagi rin tayo ng Guarantee Letters para sa hospitalization upang makatulong sa gastusing medikal ng ating mga kababayan.”

Rizal said the city government would continue to extend assistance, particularly to residents facing financial difficulties and other personal challenges.

“Sa abot ng ating makakaya, patuloy nating sinisikap na maihatid ang tulong sa bawat Calambeñong nangangailangan. Dahil para sa atin, ang bawat tulong ay hindi lamang pinansyal na suporta, kundi pagbibigay rin ng pag-asa at lakas sa gitna ng mga pagsubok sa buhay.”

“Serbisyong may malasakit, para sa bawat Calambeño!”

The two initiatives form part of the city government’s continuing assistance programs for senior citizens and other residents requiring financial and medical support.
