PDEA ARRESTS 2 DRUG PERSONALITIES, SEIZES SUSPECTED MARIJUANA AND VAPE PRODUCTS IN TAYTAY, RIZAL

Joint operatives of PDEA Rizal Provincial Office and Philippine National Police Regional Intelligence Unit 4A – Provincial Intelligence Team (PNP RIU 4A-PIT), arrested two suspected drug personalities during a buy-bust operation conducted at about 5:40 PM on October 27, 2026, in Barangay Dolores, Taytay, Rizal.

The operation resulted in the arrest of two target-listed individuals identified by their aliases as “Aries,” 27, a resident of Barangay Dolores, Taytay, Rizal, and “Reylan,” 22, a resident of Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal.

During the operation, authorities seized three small sealed white plastic pouches containing vape products subject of the buy-bust transaction, an open transparent plastic pouch containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana, six assorted vape devices, two grinders containing suspected marijuana residue, and a small transparent plastic bottle containing a black liquid substance suspected to be liquid marijuana.

The confiscated suspected marijuana had an estimated weight of 10 grams wortth Php15,000.00. Meanwhile, the suspected liquid marijuana was estimated at 110 grams worth Php11,000.00.

Other items recovered during the operation included a digital weighing scale, two boxes containing rolling papers, a silver mini cellular phone, a lighter, a genuine Php500 bill used in the buy-bust transaction, and a driver’s license.

The arrested individuals are facing possible charges for violation of Sections 5, in relation to Section 26 (Conspiracy to Sell Dangerous Drugs), and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
