SSS Members With ₱10,000 or Lower Salary Credits May Qualify for ₱8,000 Aid

The Social Security System (SSS) announced that qualified members covered by the expanded Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) UPLIFT Assistance program will begin receiving up to ₱8,000 in financial assistance on October 30, 2026.

The latest payout covers eligible SSS members with monthly salary credits (MSC) of ₱10,000 or below, extending financial support to more members under the expanded assistance program.

The UPLIFT Assistance consists of four tranches worth ₱2,000 each, which will be directly credited to beneficiaries’ registered SSS disbursement accounts.

The DSWD, in coordination with SSS, previously expanded the program to include qualified members with MSCs of up to ₱10,000, in addition to those covered under the earlier eligibility threshold of up to ₱20,000.

However, SSS clarified that having a monthly salary credit of ₱10,000 or below does not automatically qualify a member for the assistance.

To be eligible, members must have paid at least one SSS contribution in 2025 or 2026 and must be included in the Philippine Statistics Authority’s (PSA) 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) database. They must also have enrolled their disbursement accounts through the SSS Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM) within the prescribed period.

SSS advised members to regularly check their My.SSS accounts for official notifications regarding their eligibility and the release of their assistance.

Meanwhile, qualified SSS members with monthly salary credits of up to ₱20,000 are scheduled to receive the third and fourth tranches, totaling ₱4,000, on November 6, 2026.

Beneficiaries who have not received any previous UPLIFT Assistance will receive the full ₱8,000 covering all four tranches. Those who have already received the first two tranches amounting to ₱4,000 will receive an additional ₱4,000 for the remaining two tranches.

All payments will be credited directly to the beneficiaries’ registered SSS disbursement accounts.

The expanded UPLIFT Assistance program aims to extend financial support to more qualified SSS members, providing additional relief to eligible Filipino workers and their families.
