Calamba Water District formally unveiled its 50th anniversary logo on Monday, March 16, marking the start of its golden anniversary celebration and highlighting five decades of dedicated service to the people of Calamba City.
Carrying the theme “Calamba Water District: 50 Years of Service, Serving Life and Progress for our Community,” the milestone symbolizes the agency’s long-standing commitment to providing clean, safe, and reliable water supply to residents across the city.
According to CWD General Manager Exequiel Aguilar Jr., the celebration is not only a commemoration of the agency’s rich history but also a recognition of the dedication and hard work of the employees who have helped build the institution over the years. He also acknowledged the trust and continued support of the public, which has been vital to the water district’s mission.
Aguilar assured the public that CWD will continue strengthening its programs, projects, and services to further improve water supply and meet the growing needs of Calamba’s expanding community.
The CWD Board of Directors, headed by Ronald J. Pua, along with board members Dante Manguiat, Aldrin Gamilla, Alicia V. Llamas, and Bryan A. Ercia, expressed their full support for the milestone celebration.
In their message, the board underscored the importance of unity, dedication, and continued collaboration in sustaining the agency’s mission of delivering efficient and reliable water services to the community.
As part of the golden anniversary celebration, the water district also announced a series of programs and activities scheduled in the coming months to honor its legacy of service and reaffirm its commitment to sustainable development and community progress.
