Mega Job Fair 2026 Draws Over 2,000 Applicants, Brings New Opportunities to Calamba Residents

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — Thousands of job seekers gathered at the Jose Rizal Coliseum as the City Government of Calamba, under the leadership of Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal, successfully held Mega Job Fair 2026, a major employment initiative aimed at bringing livelihood opportunities closer to every Calambeño.

The large-scale job fair attracted more than 2,000 residents, who applied for various job openings offered by participating companies and employers from different industries.

Mayor Rizal highlighted the success of the event, saying, “matagumpay nating inilunsad ang Mega Job Fair 2026 kung saan mahigit 2,000+ Calambeños ang dumalo at nag-apply para sa iba’t ibang oportunidad sa trabaho.”

He also expressed satisfaction over the number of applicants who were immediately hired during the event.
“Lubos nating ikinagagalak na marami sa ating mga kababayan ang na-hire on the spot, patunay na patuloy nating inilalapit ang trabaho sa bawat pamilyang Calambeño.”

The mayor emphasized that the city government remains committed to creating more employment programs that will uplift the lives of local families and strengthen the local economy.

“Tuloy-tuloy ang ating layunin na makapagbigay ng hanapbuhay at pag-asa—dahil sa bawat trabahong naibibigay, may pamilyang natutulungan at pangarap na natutupad.”

Mega Job Fair 2026 is part of Calamba’s continuing efforts to generate jobs, support workers, and provide meaningful opportunities for residents seeking a brighter future.
