QUEZON — Sugatan ang dalawang katao matapos araruhin ng isang pick-up truck ang isang pares-pares eatery at ilang establisimyento sa gilid ng Maharlika Highway sa Brgy. Lalig, Tiaong, nitong Sabado ng hapon. March 25, 2026.
Sa ulat ng Tiaong Municipal Police Station, nangyari ang insidente bandang alas-2:00 ng hapon, habang binabaybay ng isang Toyota Hilux pick-up ang northbound lane nang masagi nito ang isang nakaparadang Honda Civic sa gilid ng kalsada.
Dahil dito, tuloy-tuloy na sumalpok ang pick-up sa isang pares-pares eatery, isang residential house, footwear store, at isang commercial building.
Sa lakas ng pagkakabangga, halos lumusot pa sa kabilang pader ng kainan ang unahan ng pick-up.
Sugatan sa insidente ang isang 22-anyos na waitress ng eatery at ang may-ari ng tinamaan na residential house.
Agad silang isinugod sa Candelaria District Hospital upang magamot.
Ayon sa mga saksi, mabilis umano ang takbo ng pick-up bago ang insidente. Sinabi rin na ang sasakyan ay pag-aari umano ng isang malaking construction company.
Nanawagan naman ang may-ari ng eatery na mabigyan sila ng agarang tulong at sagutin ang pinsala sa kanilang kabuhayan.
Nagtamo ng hindi pa matukoy na halaga ng pinsala ang mga sasakyan at mga ari-arian na nadamay sa insidente.
