Calamba City, LAGUNA — The Calamba City Police Station (CCPS) under the leadership of PLTCOL Dennis C. De Guzman received two major awards during a ceremony held at the Laguna Police Provincial Office in Sta. Cruz, Laguna on September 7, 2026.

The awards were personally conferred by Laguna Police Provincial Director PCOL Sandro Jay D.C. Tafalla, recognizing the outstanding performance and accomplishments of PLTCOL De Guzman and the Calamba City Police Station.

One of the awards named the Calamba City Police Station as the Best Component City Police Station in the entire Province of Laguna for the Month of August, highlighting the station’s operational performance, crime prevention efforts, and commitment to maintaining peace and order in the community.

Meanwhile, PLTCOL De Guzman was also awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) for his notable accomplishment in Operations Against Illegal Drugs.

The recognition underscores the police station’s continued efforts in combating illegal drug activities and strengthening law enforcement operations in Calamba City.

The awards also serve as a testament to the dedication of PLTCOL De Guzman and his personnel in fulfilling their mandate to protect the community and ensure the safety and security of Calambeños.

The Calamba City Police Station is expected to continue its intensified law enforcement and community-oriented policing initiatives as it works toward sustaining its strong performance and delivering better police services to the public.
