A Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency officer was shot dead in Pampanga yesterday, October 21,2022.

In a buy-bust operation conducted by PDEA Pampanga Provincial office at Brgy. San Francisco, Mabalacat City against one Buna S Angnie alias Noim M Daracab, Deputy Provincial Officer officer Daniel Discaya stood as the poseur buyer.

PDEA Provincial Officer Vidal Bacolod in an interview with myNSTV said after the exchange of more or less fifty grams of suspected shabu and the boodle money, suspect Angnie suddenly drew his .45 caliber pistol ang shot Discaya on his face.
PDEA agents then fired back. Both were rushed to the nearest hospital but were declared dead on arrival.

Siezed from the area of operation where one piece of knot tied transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabj with an estimated market value of P340,000, boodle money and one the gun used by the suspect. Identification cards of Angnie were also found in which one identifies him as Brgy. Police of Karkum in Sapad, Lanao Del Norte.
