Kinilala ni Police Colonel Randy Glenn G Silvio, Acting Provincial Director, Laguna PPO ang mga suspek na sina alyas Richmar, alyas Alfred, alyas John Paul, alyas Karen, alyas Samuel, alyas Juanito, at alyas Carl Oscar.
Ayon sa ulat ng Binan CPS sa pamumuno ni PLtColl Virgilio M Jopia, Chief of Police, bandang 5:30 ng umaga ngaung January 24, 2023, nagkasa ng Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation ang mga operatiba ng Binan PNP sa 8A Apolinario Mabini St. Brgy. Poblacion, Biñan City, Laguna, na nagresulta sa pagkaka aresto ng mga suspek habang huli sa aktong naglalaro ng iligal na sugal (Poker).
Nakumpiska naman sa mga suspek ang Isang (1) set ng poker chips, Isang (1) set ng playing cards at bet money na nagkakahalaga ng Php32,000.00 sa iba’t ibang denominasyon.
Kasalukuyang nasa custodial facility ng Binan CPS ang mga suspek habang ihinahanda ang kasong PD 1602 o violations of Philippine gambling laws.
Sa pahayag ni PCol Silvio, “Kinokemenda ko ang kapulisan ng Binan CPS sa aktibong pagganap sa kanilang tungkulin. Binabalaan ko naman ang mga illegal gamblers na itigil na ganitong uri ng aktibidad dahil patuluy ang operasyon ng Laguna PNP para puksain ang mga ganitong gawain”. #gtgtalampas
