Camp Aquino, Tarlac City – Jan 25, 2023
A Philippine Airforce Aircraft Marchetti SF260 crashed in the vicinity of Sitio Tabon, Brgy. Del Rosario, Pilar, Bataan around 10:40 am today, Jan 25, 2023.
Two pilots of the aircraft died in the said incident. According to the Philippine Airforce, the SF260 originated from Sangley Point, Cavite, and is conducting recurrency training and lost its signal 30 minutes into its flight.
The bodies of the deceased pilots were transferred to Martinez Funeral Homes in Pilar, Bataan.
AFP troops are currently on the ground to conduct further investigation into the cause of the incident.
