Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal – Seven (7) alledged members of the Cuento Criminal Gang were arrested in separate operations conducted by the PNP operatives of PSOU Laguna against loose firearms from 5:00 a.m. on February 4, 2023, to 5:00 a.m. of February 5, 2023 in the town of Sta Maria Laguna.

Police Colonel Randy Glenn G Silvio, Acting Provincial Director, Laguna PPO identified the suspects as alias Rogelio, Edick, Randy, Cervacio, Rio, Nestor and Rolando.

PNP operatives of PSOU Laguna conducted five (5) separate operations, which resulted in the arrest of seven (7) individuals against loose firearms in the said town.

Confiscated in separate operations were five (5) pieces of Caliber 45, four (4) pieces of 38 revolvers and two (2) hand grenades.

The said suspects are currently detained at the custodial facilities of Laguna PNP wherein six (6) of them are in Laguna PPO custodial facility and the other one (1) is in Sta. Maria Municipal Police Station and have been charged with Violation of RA 10591, RA 9516, and Obstruction of Justice.

According to the statement of PCol Silvio “With the cooperation of our community in our Police, these operations can be implemented successfully and properly, so I encourage our community to strengthen our organization for more effective implementation, towards to the peace and order in the province of Laguna.”#gtgmayani
