Joint operatives of the Santa Rosa City Police Station, PDEA Laguna Provincial Office and PDEA Regional Office IV-A Special Enforcement Team conducted an entrapment operation in front of a subdivision along Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Santa Rosa City. Laguna on March 18, 2023 at 7:15 in the evening.
The suspect was identified as Joemar Demandante y Lozada, 40, male, single, vendor and resident of Ayala Southville Village, Almanza Uno, Las Piñas City.
More or less 750 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as shabu with an estimated value of Php5,175,000.00 was seized from the suspect including the Php1,000 paper bill buy-bust money.
Demandante will be facing charges in violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Article II of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
