Iniulat ni Police Colonel RANDY GLENN G SILVIO, Acting Provincial Director, Laguna PPO kay Police Brigadier General JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR, Regional Director – CALABARZON ang pagkakaaresto sa labing-isang (11) akusado sa loob ng isang (1) araw na “Warrant Day” operations ng Laguna PNP, kahapon April 6, 2023.
Kabilang sa mga naaresto ay isang (1) Most Wanted Person Regional Level na may kasong Syndicated Estafa at paglabag sa Section 28 ng RA 8799 o “The Securities Regulation Code”, isang (1) Most Wanted Person Provincial Level na may kasong RA 7610 o “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.”, isang (1) Most Wanted Person Municipal Level na nahaharap naman sa kasong Alarm and Scandals kaugnay sa Sec. 28 ng RA 10591, Alarm and Scandals kaugnay sa Sec. 261 ng RA 10591 at BP 881 o “Omnibus Election Code” habang arestado din ang walo ( 8 ) na Other Wanted Persons.
Ang mga arestadong akusado ay kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng kani-kanilang operating units. Samantala ang mga korteng pinagmulan ng kanilang mga Warrant of Arrest ay iimpormahan sa pagkaaresto ng mga nasabing akusado.
Ang ‘Warrant Day’ ng Laguna PNP ay isinasagawa tuwing Huwebes at matagumpay na naipapatupad sa pamamagitan ng mga nakalap na impormasyon mula sa aktibong suporta ng komunidad sa iba’t ibang barangay sa lalawigan ng Laguna.
Sa pahayag ni PCOL SILVIO “Ang Warrant Day po ng Laguna PNP ay isang pamamaraan upang mabilisang maaresto o mahuli ang mga nagtatago sa batas sa pakikipagtulungan at suporta ng ating mga kababayan dito sa Laguna. Hindi po titigil ang inyong kapulisan sa mga ganitong operasyon lalo na ngayong panahon ng Kuwaresma at paumpisa ng Summer Vacation upang mas maayos at mapayapang maipagdiwang ang mga ganitong okasyon dito sa buong lalawigan. #gtgmayani
