CAVINTI, Laguna – Two New People’s Army and two Milisya ng Bayan members under Komiteng Larangan Gerelya NARCISO of the Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee who are all from General Nakar, Quezon surrender to the government thru the joint efforts of the Gen. Nakar Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, the Philippine Army, and the PNP, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

The surrenderors whose identities are withheld for security reason, also surrendered two (2) M16 rifles.
“We can no longer bear the hardship of being always on the run, without food, and uncertain of tomorrow. At first, we believed on the promises of our recruiters that we were the protectors of the poor and the oppressed. But in reality, we are not helping the impoverished as we were promised. We were actually their oppressors when we forced them to support us and threaten those who refuse”, the surrenderors said.

Brigadier General Cerilo C. Balaoro Jr, the Commander of the 202nd (Unifier) Brigade, warmly welcomed the decision of the surrenderors. “I encourage you to convince your comrades to follow your steps, start and enjoy a peaceful life with your family and loved ones, and avail of the government’s financial and livelihood assistance through the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP),” he added.

It can be recalled that on April 11, 2023, a total of 41 Former Rebels received ECLIP assistance in Quezon facilitated by the Department of Interior and Local Government. Likewise, the municipality of General Nakar achieved its Stable Internal Peace and Security status on February 27, 2023, the first among the municipality in northern Quezon.

BARAS, RIZAL – Ika-30 ng Mayo 2023, Boluntaryong sumuko ang apat (4) na mga kasapi ng komonistang teroristang New People’s Army (N P A) sa pinagsanib na elemento ng 80IB at PNP Rizal sa Himpilan ng 80th Infantry (STEADFAST) Battalion, Sitio Galaxy, Barangay Pinugay, Baras Rizal bunsod ng sunod-sunod na pagdedeklara ng Sustainable Internal Peace and Security (SIPS) sa maraming bayan ng Timog Katagalugan.

Ang mga sumuko ay pawang miyembro ng Platun 1, Sentro De Gravidad (SDG), Kilusang Larangan Girilya (KLG) NARCISO, SRMA 4A, STRPC. Kasabay sa kanilang pagsuko ang dalawang (2) M16 Assault Rifle na mga armas na kanilang ginagamit habang sila ay aktibo sa loob ng kilusan.

Kasalukuyang nasa pangangalaga ng 80IB para matulungang maiproseso at mapa-enrol ang mga sumuko sa E-CLIP para matulungan silang mamuhay muli ng kumportable.

Ang pagsuko ng apat (4) na miyembro ng teroristang grupong NPA ay bunga ng pinaigting na kampanya ng ating pamahalaan na palawakin ang pagsisikap na maabot at maiparating ang panawagan para sa pagkakaisa ng ating kasalukuyang Pangulo ng Bansa upang makamit ang sustenableng kapayapaan at kaunlaran

“Buong puso naming tinatanggap ang mga sumuko at patuloy pa rin ang ating panawagan para sa mga natitira pang miyembro ng teroristang NPA na makipagtulungan, sumuko nang mapayapa, at isuko ang kanilang mga baril. Palaging handa at tutulungan ng gobyerno ang gustong bumalik nang makapiling ang kanilang mga pamilya.” – Lt. Col. Comendador.
