At about 2:30 in the afternoon of June 9, 2023 an information was received by Antipolo City Police Station about a discovered human body parts under the bridge along NHA Avenue, Brgy. Dela Paz, Antipolo City.
PLTCOL JUNE PAOLO O ABRAZADO, Antipolo CPS, Chief of Police immediately responded to the scene together with the commander of Police Community Precinct 2 and investigator on case. SOCO operatives were also requested and responded to the scene for Crime Scene Investigation.
According to the investigation, scavengers saw a trash bag under the bridge. Upon opening they were dazed of what they saw, a human head, arms and legs. The scavengers sought the assistance of the Sitio Chairman and was later identified by the aunt of the victim through her tattoo. Moreover, at around 5:30 of the same date the other body part (trunk) of the victim was found on a ravine beside the road near Boso-Boso area, Brgy. San Jose about 10.2 kilometers away from the first discovered crime scene.
It appeared that on June 7, 2023, at about 8:00 PM, the victim informed his live-in partner, to drop her off to Cogeo gate 2, because she was going to Robinson’s mall to meet up with a certain friend. Until then the victim did not return home.
The following day on June 10, 2023, after the skillful questioning of the Investigators on Case, the live-in partner of the victim, identified as Vince Eric Rivera Ramos, 27 years old confessed his crime and narrated in details his heinous acts.
Antipolo City Police Station backtracked the other crime scenes as confessed by the suspect including the place where he dismembered the body of the victim in his grandmothers’ house at Sitio Cabcab, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City
The suspect informed of his constitutional rights is currently detained at Antipolo City Police Station lock-up cell and will face a murder case.
