Kinilala ni Police Colonel HAROLD P DEPOSITAR, Officer-in-Charge, Laguna PPO ang akusado na si Alyas Jem residente ng Odiongan, Romblon.
Sa ulat ni PLTCOL ROLLY B LIEGEN, hepe ng San Pedro City Police Station, nagkasa ang kanilang mga operatiba ng joint manhunt Operation kasama ang CIDG Romblon, PIU Romblon, RID PRO-4B at Calatrava MPS laban sa akusado ganap na 2:30 ng madaling araw Hulyo 5, 2023 sa Brgy. Canyayo, Santa Fe, Romblon na nag resulta sa agarang pagkakadakip ni alyas Jem.
Isinagawa ang nasabing operasyon sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest na inilabas ng Regional Trial Court Branch 31, San Pedro City, Laguna na nilagdaan ni Hon. Sonia T. Yu-Casano. Nahaharap ang akusado sa kasong 5 counts ng Qualified Theft.
Ang arestadong akusado ay kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng San Pedro CPS, samantala iimpormahan naman agad ang korteng pinagmulan ng Warrant of Arrest sa pagkaaresto nito.
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL DEPOSITAR “Ang mga operasyon ng Laguna PNP laban sa mga Wanted Persons o mga nagtatago sa batas ay bilang pagtalima sa panawagan ng pamunoan ng kagalang-galang na Regional Director PRO CALABARZON, PBGEN CARLITO M GACES at Chief PNP, PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR na panagutin sa batas ang mga akusado at bigyan ng agarang hustisya ang mga biktima.#gtgacana
