As a result of continuous commitment to a Stable Internal and Peace Security (SIPS) and Insurgency Free Province of Quezon, five (5) Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) are discovered and recovered yesterday at Barangay Kigtan, Calauag, Quezon, July 17, 2023.
The Provincial Director, Quezon Police Provincial Office, PCOL LEDON D MONTE directs an extensive law enforcement through-out the province wherein, non-stop police and coordinated operations were steered to cater the peace and order as a steady development of the community.
Based on the investigation, initial report was received by Calauag MPS and 2QPMFC from AFP counterparts that an informant reported the presence of Improvised Explosive Devices. Thus, a joint PNP and AFP team was deployed. As a result, one (1) black bag containing five (5) IEDs were recovered.
PCOL Monte also emphasizes that widened law enforcement and preventive measures on peace keeping activities were employed as we ensure that the Quezon Province have a Stable Internal Peace and Security that brings a sustainable development in the community.
