Nasukol ang isang indibidwal sa isinagawang drug buy bust operation ng mga operatiba ng San Mateo Municipal Police Station dakong 8:25 ng umaga August 20 taong kasalukuyan sa parking area ng 2430 SKIES HOTEL Beneliza Street, Brgy Ampid 1, San Mateo, Rizal. Iniulat ni Rizal Police Provincial Director, PCOL DOMINIC L BACCAY kay Calabarzon Regional Director PBGEN CARLITO M GACES ang drug buy-bust operation na naganap at ang matagumpay na pagkaka aresto sa suspek.
Ayon sa ulat, ang San Mateo MPS intel operative ay isinagawa ang operasyon na may koordinasyon sa PDEA 4A na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto sa suspek na si: Edgar Allan Santos y Relox alyas KAMBAL, 28-taong gulang at nakatira sa Brgy San Rafael Rodriguez, Rizal
Narekober at nakumpiska mula sa suspek ang mga sumusunod na ebidensiya:
a. Walong (8) pirasong pakete na naglalaman ng white crystalline substance na hinihinalang SHABU na may timbang na humigit kumulang 26.68 gramo at nagkakahalaga ng PHP 181,424.00;
b. Isang (1) color brown ng coin purse
c. Isang (1) unit cellular phone
d. Isang (1) piraso 500 peso bill (marked money)
e. Isang (1) unit ng Yamaha Mio Soul motorcycle at;
f. Isang (1) nutshell helmet
Ang suspek at ebidensya ay dinala sa Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit para sa tamang disposisyon. Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng San Mateo Custodial Facility ang nasabing suspek na nahaharap sa reklamong paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 o RA 9165.
Binigyang diin ni PCOL BACCAY na ang kapulisan ng Rizal ay patuloy na lalabanan at hindi titigil sa pagsugpo ng mga mga ilegal na droga. Sinisiguro ng Rizal PNP na ang mga mamayan at probinsya ng Rizal ay ligtas mula sa mga ilegal na aktibidad, illegal drugs at kriminalidad.
