On August 20, 2023 a shooting incident transpired in Rodriguez, Rizal involving PNP personnel identified as PCpl Arnuflo Gabriel Sabillo and Jeffrey Beluan Baguio (Civilian) which led to the untimely death of John Francis Ompad.
Rizal PNP officials wasted no time and immediately visited the Ompad Family on August 21, 2023, at about 11:00 AM in their residence at Southville 8C, Brgy. San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal. This is to assure the family that justice will prevail and will leave no stone unturned until the perpetrators are prosecuted. Also, the visiting party extends financial help to the Ompad Family.
On August 24, 2023, at about 1:18 in the afternoon, PLTCOL Ruben M Piquero, OIC, Rodriguez Municipal Police Station visited the wake of John Francis Ompad to give updates to the family pertaining to the cases that will be filed against the suspects. PLTCOL Piquero offered financial support and vowed swift justice for the family.
In addition, PCapt Umar M Aduca, Chief Investigation Section of Rodriguez MPS personally handed the Case Folder and other pertinent documents of the case surrounding the shooting incident of John Ace and John Francis Ompad on August 26, 2023 at about 12:59 PM.
PCOL Rainerio M De Chavez, OIC, Provincial Director of Rizal PPO vehemently guarantees the Ompad Family that justice will be hastily served. Rizal PNP is always ready to provide assistance in any way it can.
