Camp BGen Vicente P Lim- PRO CALABARZON Acting Regional Director PBGEN PAUL KENNET T LUCAS conducted visitation and inspection of different polling precincts and police stations in the CALABARZON Region.
During the inspection, PBGEN LUCAS talked to the personnel assigned at the different polling precincts to reorient them on their safety and security in the performance of their duty during the election day. He also reminded the personnel in the field about the adherence to the existing policies and guidelines in taking actions about election related incidents. Furrher, he inspected the capabilities and equipment specifically on the “Tamang Bihis” of all personnel deployed in the polling precincts.
Further, members of the Command Group and Regional Staff also conducted field visitation and inspection to different police stations, PNP/AFP COMELEC Checkpoints, Police Assistance Desk (PADS) and other deployment areas to ensure the readiness and capabilities of troops to respond to any election related incidents.
“Generally everything is running smooth and we are on top of the situation. We will continuously be monitoring the election to ensure a peaceful, credible and successful elections. I urged the public to report any untoward incident to their authorities. To all the constituents of CALABARZON, rest assured that all Personnel of PRO 4A will not engage in any political activities and will remain non-partisan,” ARD Lucas said. (RPIO4A)
