Camp BGen Paciano Rizal, Sta Cruz, Laguna – PCOL HAROLD P DEPOSITA, Officer-in-Charge, Laguna PPO, reported to PBGEN PAUL T KENNETH LUCAS, Regional Director, Police Regional Office (PRO) 4A, the joint manhunt operation in Rodriguez, Rizal on Tuesday, November 7, that resulted in the arrest of the elusive Regional level Most Wanted Person for murder.
PCOL DEPOSITAR identified the accused as alias Nelson, 57 years old, a native of Siniloan, Laguna, and is presently residing in Rodrguez, Rizal.
The accused was arrested by personnel of Siniloan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and the Laguna Provincial Intelligence Team – Regional Intelligence Unit (PIT- RIU4A), in a service of alias warrant of arrest issued on January 6, 2000, by the 4th Judicial Region, Regional Trial Court, Branch 33, Siniloan, Laguna for the crime of murder. The arrest occurred at 7:07 p.m. on November 7, 2023, in Brgy. Manggahan, Rodriguez, Rizal.
Alyas Nelson was arrested after 23-year period of hiding, during which he had been hiding in various locations. His arrest brings him to justice for a murder case he allegedly committed in Siniloan, Laguna in 1999.
He is one of the thirty-six (36) most wanted persons with arrest warrants arrested by Laguna Police this Month of which two (2) face murder charges.
