On February 8, 2024 at 11:00 in the evening, joint operatives of PDEA Quezon Provincial Office PDEA Regional Office IV-A Special Enforcement Team, PDEA Regional Office IV-B Marinduque Provincial Office and Lucena City Police Station conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Little Baguio Uno, Barangay Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City which led to the discovery and dismantling of a drug den.
Four suspects were arrested and identified as Alvin Montañez y Dacullo alias Kuya, Erica Valentin y Pasamonte alias Erica, both are allegedly drug den maintainers, John Anthony Borromeo y Asis alias Bong and Dennis Montañez y Dacullo alias Denden. The operatives were able to confiscate more or less 15 grams of suspected shabu worth Php102,000.00, various drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money.
Suspects will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
