Camp BGen Paciano Rizal – Arestado ang isang Street Level Individual (SLI) at nakumpiska sa kanya ang 51 gramo ng shabu sa isinagawang drug buy-bust operation ng Sta Cruz PNP kaninang madaling araw Pebrero 17, 2024.
Kinilala ni POLICE COLONEL GAUVIN MEL Y UNOS, Acting Provincial Director ng Laguna PPO, ang suspek na si alyas Kerwin residente ng Santa Cruz, Laguna.
Ayon sa ulat ni PMAJ LAURENCE C ABOAC, hepe ng Sta Cruz Municipal Police Station nagkasa sila ng drug buy-bust operation sa ganap na 2:00 ng madaling araw Pebrero 16, 2024 sa Brgy. Santisima Cruz, Sta Cruz, Laguna na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ni alyas Kerwin matapos magbenta ng hinihinalang iligal na shabu sa police poseur buyer kapalit ang buy-bust money.
Nakumpiska sa suspek ang mga lima (5) na pirasong plastic sachet ng hinihinalang iligal na shabu na may timbang na aabot sa 51 gramo at nagkakahalaga ng humigit kumulang PhP346,000.00, isang unit ng Yamaha Mio Sporty, isang coin purse, cellular phone at narekober din sa suspek ang ginamit na buy-bust money.
Samantala, kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Sta Cruz MPS ang arestadong suspek na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.” Gayun din, ang mga kumpiskadong ebidensya ay isinumiti sa Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) para sa forensic examination.
Sa pahayag ni PCOL UNOS, “Ang mga impormasyong ibinibigay ng ating mamamayan ang isang malaking susi sa pagkaka-aresto ng mga taong sangkot sa ilegal na droga. Ang inyong pakikipagtulungan ay tungo sa kaayusan, kapayapaan at kaunlaran ng buong Lalawigan ng Laguna.” #gtgtalampas
