Sa BJMP Antipolo, dalawang babaeng suspek ang naaresto matapos mahulihan ng hinihinalang droga habang bumibisita sa kanilang mga karelasyon na nakapiit. Ang insidente ay naganap sa Sitio Pulong Banal, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City noong Marso 12, 2024, bandang alas-kwatro ng hapon.

Ang ulat tungkol sa pangyayari kay PCOL FELIPE B. MARAGGUN, ang Provincial Director, na agad namang nagtala ng mga pangalan ng mga suspek: Alyas SALY, 34-taong gulang, at Alyas KATH, 39-taong gulang. Parehong naninirahan sa Brgy. San Isidro, Antipolo City, kinilala ang dalawang ito bilang magkapatid.

Batay sa imbestigasyon ng Antipolo Component City Police Station, ang mga suspek ay nagbalak na dalawin ang kanilang mga karelasyon na nakapiit sa BJMP Antipolo, na parehong may mga kaso kaugnay sa droga. Subalit, dahil sa kakaibang kilos ng mga babaeng dadalaw sa loob ng BJMP Antipolo, napansin nila ang mga condom na itinago ng dalawang suspek sa kanilang katawan, sa maselang bahagi nito. Sa pag-inspeksyon, natuklasan ang dalawang nakataling plastic na hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang timbang na humigit-kumulang na 200 gramo at nagkakahalagang PHP 1,360,000.00.

Ini-report ng BJMP Antipolo ang insidente na agad inaksyunan ng Antipolo City Drug Enforcement Team (CDET). Ang mga ebidensya at mga suspek ay isinailalim sa laboratory examination para sa tamang pagtatasa. Samantala, ang dalawang suspek ay kasalukuyang nakapiit sa Antipolo Custodial Facility, na kinakaharap ang mga reklamong paglabag sa RA 9165, o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Pinuri ni PCOL MARAGGUN ang mabilis na pagtugon sa insidenteng ito. Ayon sa kanya, hindi na papayagan pa ang ganitong uri ng modus operandi upang makalusot ang mga ilegal na gawain na nagdudulot ng pinsalang moral at pang-ekonomiya sa probinsya ng Rizal. Pinatibay pa niya ang pinaigting na kampanya ng Rizal PNP laban sa illegal na droga, at hinihimok ang suporta ng iba’t ibang ahensya at mamamayan upang maitaguyod ang isang ligtas at mapayapang pamayanan. Ang pangyayaring ito ay naglalarawan ng determinasyon ng mga awtoridad na mapanatili ang kaayusan at katahimikan sa komunidad.

More than a million pesos worth of drugs were seized from the possession of two women who attempted to smuggle them into the Antipolo City Jail!

The two female suspects were arrested after being caught with shabu while visiting their live-in partner incarcerated at the BJMP Antipolo Sitio Pulong Banal, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City yesterday, March 12, 2024, around 4:00 PM.

According to the report received by PCOL FELIPE B MARAGGUN, Provincial Director, the two arrested suspects were identified as Alias SALY, 34 years old, and Alias KATH, 39 years old, both residents of Brgy. San Isidro, Antipolo City.

Based on the investigation conducted by the Antipolo Component City Police Station, the suspects intended to visit their live-in partner who is also detained at the BJMP Antipolo and is facing drug-related charges. However, upon inspection by BJMP Antipolo personnel, condoms hidden in the suspects’ genitals containing two tied plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 200 grams and valued at PHP 1,360,000.00 were discovered. BJMP Antipolo promptly reported the incident to the police, who swiftly acted on it with the assistance of the Antipolo City Drug Enforcement Team (CDET).

The confiscated evidence and suspects will undergo laboratory examination for proper disposition. Meanwhile, the suspects remain incarcerated at the Antipolo Custodial Facility, facing charges under RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PCOL MARAGGUN commended the arrest of the suspects, emphasizing that such modus operandi will not work to conceal illegal activities that undermine the province of Rizal. The intensified campaign of the Rizal PNP against illegal drugs, in collaboration with various agencies and citizens, aims to achieve a safe community.
