From Health Care Asia for its initiative to fight Tuberculosis Calamba Medical Center’s Dayang Masalanta Award a program that promotes its fight against tuberculosis have garnered international recognition, as the prestigious Health Care Asia award was bestowed upon the hospital on March 26, 2024 at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore. This accolade serves as a testament to the hospital’s unwavering commitment to combatting this infectious disease and improving the health and well-being of its community.

Receiving the Disease Prevention Initiative of the Year is a validation of Calamba Medical Center’s dedication and effectiveness in addressing the challenges posed by tuberculosis. Representing Calamba Medical Center during the award’s night are Dr. Rhodora Ocampo, Chief Medical Officer, Mr. Florencio Tenorio, Chief Finance Officer, and Dr. Mark Kristoff Pasayan, Department Chair of the CMC Disease Prevention and Control Center.
