Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim – Intelligence operatives of Pitogo Municipal Police Station, along with personnel from Guinayangan Municipal Police Station, Regional Intelligence Unit 4A – Quezon Provincial Intelligence Team, and Quezon Maritime Police Station, successfully arrested alias “Virgilio,” 48, listed as Rank No. 10 Most Wanted Person Regional Level, resident of Brgy. Soliyao Ilaya, Pitogo, Quezon during a police operation conducted at about 3:45 PM on April 13, 2024, in Brgy. San Luis 2, Guinayangan, Quezon.
The arrest was made by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 62, Gumaca, Quezon, for the crimes of Statutory Rape under PAR. I, Art. 266-A of RPC, as amended by RA 8353 and RA 11648, Statutory Rape under PAR. (1)(D), ART. 266-A of RPC as amended by RA 8353, both with no bail; and Acts of lasciviousness under Sec. 5(B), ART. III of RA 7610, with recommended bail in the amount of PhP 180,000.00.
PBGen Paul Kenneth T Lucas, Regional Director of PRO CALABARZON, expressed his gratitude for the exemplary performance shown by all operatives. “The successful arrest of alias “Virgilio,” Rank No. 10 Most Wanted Person Regional Level, is a testament to the skill and dedication of our operatives in fulfilling their duties. I am deeply thankful for their outstanding performance in this mission. Through their cooperation and unity, they have not only succeeded in apprehending this criminal but also ensured the safety of our communities against the dangers posed by this fugitive,” he said.

Meanwhile, the arrested suspect is currently under the custodial facility of Pitogo MPS for proper disposition. RPIO4A
