A drug den was discovered and dismantled by joint operatives of PDEA Cavite Provincial Office and Bacoor City Police Station during a buy-bust operation on May 9, 2024 at 7”10 in the evening.
Authorities arrested nine drug personalities including the suspected drug den maintainer identified as Cristina Dequiño y Cañeda, 60, female, single, jobless, the subject of the operation; Jayson Albarico y Dalaguan, 33, male, single, jobless; Mark Joseph Estrada y Maninang, 36, male, single, painter; Jay Malimban y Bibit, 53, male, jobless; Ronnie Sotaliza y Lequigan, 53, male, single, construction worker; Marcelino Maluto y Cariñoza, 33, male, single, construction worker; Anthony Gana y Salvador, 38, male, married, bouncer; Leonie Archivo Jr. y Cordova, 36, male, single, jobless; and Jerico Bonafe Jr. y Daliva, 25, male, single, jobless.
Operatives were able to confiscate more or less 6.5 grams of suspected shabu worth Php44,608.68, buy-bust money and various drug paraphernalia.
Appropriate charges for violation of the Republic Act 9164 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
