On May 22, 2024, at 6:50 PM, combined efforts of the PDEA Laguna Provincial Office and Santa Rosa City Police Station led to the arrest of six individuals and the dismantling of a drug den in Barangay Dita, Santa Rosa City, Laguna during a buy-bust operation.
The apprehended suspects are Edward Stafford y Mabutol, 54, alleged drug den maintainer; Nilo Tamayo y Arevalo, 65; Felimon Gutlay y Gallarda, 38; Jayr Siaron y Felicio, 25; Rodel Saban y Sobito, 33; and John Carlo De Leon y Cubangbang, 20.
Authorities seized approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu valued at Php 68,000.00, along with buy-bust money and various drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are set to face charges under Republic Act No. 9165, also known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
