Calamba City, Laguna – Si Sol Aragones, kakandidato sa pagka-gobernador, ay namamayagpag sa mga naunang survey na isinagawa noong Oktubre 2023, Enero 2024, at Marso 2024, na may mataas na response rate mula sa mga residente ng Laguna. Ibinahagi ito ni Kap Abner Dionglay, Public Information Officer ni Aragones, sa isang event sa Paete noong Mayo 22 na dinaluhan nang mahigit 9,000 na katao.
Kabilang sa mga dahilan ng pagtaas pa sa survey ni Aragones ay ang kanyang mga programa sa edukasyon, (na kahit palakol ang grado ay pagkakalooban pa rin niya ng scholarship), kalusugan (tertiary Hospital), turismo, at negosyo.
Dagdag pa ni Dionglay na bagaman natalo noong eleksyon 2022 sa pagka gobernador ay hindi huminto si Aragones sa pagbibigay serbisyo at tulong sa mamamayan sa buong bansa higit sa lahat ang kanyang lalawigang pinanggalingan, ang Laguna.
Binanggit din ang mga tagumpay ng Akay ni Sol Partylist, na malaki ang naging ambag sa mas lalung kasikatan ni Aragones kung saan siya ang presidente nito. Sa kasalukuyan, nakapamahagi na sila ng 20,000 wheelchairs, 50,000 tungkod, 50,000 quadcane, 25,000 walkers, 20,000 saklay, 2,000 nebulizers, at 2,000 hearing aids sa mga persons with disabilities (PWDs) sa rehiyon.
Sa isang kapansin-pansing inisyatiba, na tulungan ng Akay ni Sol Partylist ang 7,000 indibidwal na magkaroon ng Xtern Foot Drop device, na nakakatulong sa mga gaya ng inatake sa puso at di kayang makalakad ng maayos o bumabagsak ang kanilang paa, malaking ginhawa ito higit lalu sa mga hindi kayang makabili ng ganitong aparato ay nakakalakad na nang maayos.
Nagpahayag ng pasasalamat ang mga residente ng Paete para sa kanyang tuloy-tuloy na serbisyo at suporta mula pa noong siya ay kinatawan bilang Congresswoman ng 3rd District sa Laguna.
“Ang walang humpay na dedikasyon ni Sol Aragones sa pagtulong sa mga tao sa Laguna ay nagbubunga ng magagandang resulta, at ang kanyang tuluy-tuloy na pagsusumikap ay kinikilala, at malinaw na tunay siyang nagmamalasakit sa amin.” iyan ang nasambit ng residente ng Paete.
Bagama’t isang taon pa bago ang eleksyon sa 2025, ipinapakita na ng mga botante ang kanilang pagtangkilik sa mga kandidatong may konkretong kontribusyon sa kanilang mga komunidad. Ang maagang pangunguna ni Aragones ay nagpapahiwatig na ang kanyang malawakang suporta at mga programa ay tumutugon sa pangangailangan ng mga mamamayan.
Inaasahan na makakaharap ni Aragones ang matinding kompetisyon mula sa mga kasalukuyang nakaupo sa gobyerno na sina Laguna Vice Governor Atty. Karen Agapay, 2nd District Representative Ruth Mariano Hernandez at Sta. Rosa Lone District Representative Dan Fernandez. Gayunpaman, ang kanyang matibay na ugnayan at rekord ng serbisyo publiko ay maaaring magbigay sa kanya ng kalamangan sa darating na halalan.
