On June 25, 2024, joint operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Cavite and Laguna successfully apprehended five drug personalities during a targeted buy-bust operation. The operation took place at 7:30 in the evening in Barangay Panapaan II, Bacoor, Cavite.
The operation not only led to the arrest of the suspects but also resulted in the discovery and dismantling of a drug den. Approximately eight (8) grams of suspected shabu, valued at Php54,000.00, were confiscated during the raid.
The arrested individuals have been identified as follows:
Angelito Celestino y Reyes
Limbo Masamong y Pabia
Fermin Guinto y Lim
Mark Joseph Santos y Galla
Stephenson Celestino y Ramos
These suspects will be facing charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, commonly known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The PDEA’s swift action underscores their commitment to combating illegal drug activities in the region.
