Calamba City, Laguna — Ipinakita ni Senator Bong Go, ang Chairperson ng Senate Committee on Health, ang kanyang dedikasyon sa paglilingkod sa mga mamamayan ng Alfonso, Cavite, sa kanyang personal na pagbisita noong Agosto 12, 2024. Isinagawa niya ang inspeksyon sa itinatayong Super Health Center at Evacuation Center, mga proyektong kanyang sinuportahan upang mapalapit ang serbisyong medikal at pangkaligtasan sa mga taga-Alfonso.
Bilang pagkilala sa kanyang walang sawang pagseserbisyo, iginawad ng Sangguniang Bayan ng Alfonso ang Resolution No. 110 Series of 2024, na kumikilala kay Senator Bong Go bilang isang “Adopted Son” ng bayan. Si Mayor Randy Salamat, kasama ang buong lokal na pamahalaan, ay nagpahayag ng kanilang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa senador sa kanyang malaking ambag sa kanilang komunidad.
Sa kanyang talumpati, binigyang-diin ni Senator Go ang kahalagahan ng Super Health Center, na magsisilbing pangunahing pasilidad para sa mga medikal na pangangailangan ng mga residente, kabilang ang pre-natal checkups at maging ang panganganak. Bukas aniya ang kanyang tanggapan para sa lahat ng mga nangangailangan ng tulong, dahil naniniwala siya na ang serbisyo sa kapwa ay serbisyo rin sa Diyos.
Hindi rin nakaligtaan ni Senator Go na purihin ang Pilipinong gymnast na si Carlos Yulo sa pagkakapanalo nito ng dalawang gintong medalya sa Paris Olympics. Nangako ang senador na kanyang tututukan ang mga pangangailangan ng mga atletang Pilipino upang higit na mapaangat ang kanilang moral at antas ng pamumuhay. Ikinadiamaya naman ni Sen. Go ang kawalan ng uniform ng 2 atleta sa Olympics at sinabi ang kahalagahan ng uniporme lalu na ang nakakabit na flag ng Pilipinas. Kaya ito ay gusto niyang talakayin sa Senado.
Ang pagbisita ni Senator Go ay nag-iwan ng inspirasyon at pag-asa sa mga residente ng Alfonso, na nagpatibay ng kanilang tiwala sa kanyang liderato at malasakit sa kapwa Pilipino.
