QUEZON-HINULI ng PMRB at Quezon PNP ang isang dump truck na pagmamay-ari di umano ng Sariaya LGU dahil sa laman nitong 18 kubiko ng mga bato para umano sa ginagawang bagong munisipyo ng Sariaya.
Sa pagsisiyasat ng pulisya, dadalhin umano ang 18 kubiko ng bato sa proyekto ng lokal na pamahalaan,ayon mismo ito sa pahayag ng driver at pahinante subalit wala namang naipakitang kaukulang permit ng sitahin ng PMRB at ng PNP.
Ayon kay Quezon PNP Prov.Director PCOL Ledon Monte, ito ay tahasang paglabag sa ordinansa ng probinsya na nagbabawal na sa lahat quarry operations sa munisipalidad ng Sariaya.
Naging mainit ang usaping ito nitong nakaraang buwan ng Abril matapos manawagan ang mga mamamayan ng Sariaya dahil sa ramdam at nakikitang pinsala ng quarrying sa kanilang lugar at sa paanan ng bundok ng Mt. Banahaw.
Agad na tumugon si Quezon Gob.Helen Tan sa panawagan ng mamamayan at inatasan ang mga kaugnay na ahensya ng probinsya para sa agarang implementasyon ng ordinansa.
Matatandaang pinatawan ng suspensyon at pagbabawal na magquarry ang bayan ng Sariaya sa pamamagitan ng pagpalabas ni Gob Helen Tan ng Executive Order Number 20 series of 2024 An Order Declaring a Moratorium on Quarry Operation in Munipality of Sariaya noong nakalipas na April 29,2024.
Sa report ng Sariaya PNP nakilala ang pahinante at driver ng dump truck na sina San Pedro Vito (driver) at Rodelito Ferrer (pahinante) na kapwa taga-Brgy. Sto Cristo, Sariaya Quezon.
Samantala sa pamamagitan ng social media FB live ni Sariaya Mayor Marceng Gayeta ay nagpahayag ang Alkalde na walang katotohanan ang mga lumabas na balita sa social media at sa mga balitang ipinalabas ng ilang mamamahayag mariin niyang pinabulaanan at kinondena ang lumabas na mga report na nagmula sa mga awtoridad na humuli sa sinasabing pag aari ng LGU ang nahuling dump truck at gagamitin ito sa proyekto ng Sariaya LGU.
