Joint Law Enforcement Operation led to Arrest of Former CTG Member

Zamboanga Sibugay – On August 14, 2024, personnel from 55SAC, 5SAB of SAF together with the elements of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Zamboanga Sibugay PFU as lead unit, other PNP units and AFP counterpart arrested alias Dondon in a joint law enforcement operation conducted in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

The suspect is a former CTG member under Western Mindanao Regional Party Committee of Guerilla Front Feliciano-A. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Multiple Attempted Murder under Criminal Case No. 2021-04-16(2168) dated December 29, 2021 with recommended bail of PhP120,000.00 issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 27, 9th Judicial Region, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.

CIDG Zamboanga Sibugay PFU took custody of the arrested suspect for documentation and proper disposition.

The successful operation is a manifestation of strong commitment and support of the Unit to other law enforcement agencies in the maintenance of peace and order in the region.
