Camaligan, Camarines Sur – On August 18, 2024, personnel from 95SAC, 9SAB of SAF together with the elements of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Camarines Sur PFU as lead unit and other PNP units successfully arrested alias Joseph in a joint law enforcement operation conducted in Brgy. Conception Grande, Naga City, Camarines Sur.
The suspect was arrested during the implementation of Search Warrant No. RTC 2024-15 dated August 15, 2024 for violation R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). The search warrant was issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 26, 5th Judicial Region, Naga City, Camarines Sur. Seized during the operation were one 9mm Pietro Barretta Pistol without serial number, two steel magazines for 9mm pistol, 12 rounds of ammunition for 9mm, 19 rounds of ammunition for caliber 45, five rounds ammunition for caliber 357, and one black inside holster.
CIDG Camarines Sur PFU took custody of the arrested suspect and seized items for documentation and proper disposition.
The successful operation stands as proof of the commitment and diligent efforts of the PNP SAF and other law enforcement agencies in upholding peace and order within the region.
