PDEA and Philippine Airforce Raid Dismantles Drug Den in Cainta, Five Arrested

In a joint operation, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Rizal Provincial Office and the Philippine Airforce Tactical Operations Group 4 successfully apprehended five individuals involved in illegal drug activities during a buy-bust operation on August 31, 2024, at 9:30 PM in Barangay San Isidro, Cainta, Rizal. The operation led to the discovery and dismantling of a drug den, with authorities seizing approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu valued at Php68,000.00, buy-bust money, and various drug paraphernalia.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Ace Divina y Flores, 45, a welder; Wilfredo Lerit y Lumampao, 49, unemployed; and Paulo Lerit y Lumampao, 45, a construction worker, who were allegedly maintaining the drug den. Also apprehended were Joseph Lanoza y Cerdan, 48, a driver, and Joshua Yasay y Hanopol, 29.

All suspects are currently detained at the PDEA Regional Office IV-A Jail Facility in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. They will be facing charges under Republic Act No. 9165, known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Authorities continue their investigation to determine the full extent of the illegal operation.
