In celebration of the birthday of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., the Office of the President is leading the “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat” event on Friday, September 13, 2024. This initiative marks a nationwide effort to provide essential assistance to communities across the country, ensuring that Filipinos receive vital support from the government. The event begins at 9 AM and will take place simultaneously in various provinces.

The province of Laguna will be among the key areas for the distribution of aid. Secretary Romulo “Leo” V. Arugay of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas will oversee the activities in Laguna, as part of the government’s mission to reach out to all sectors of society. The local distribution will be held at the Laguna Provincial Capitol Extension, located in Brgy. Halang, Calamba City.

In Laguna, Governor Ramil Hernandez led the event, ensuring that the province’s residents receive the assistance they need. The governor’s leadership has been pivotal in organizing the local efforts. Furthermore, each province across the nation, including Laguna, greeted the nation through an online live national broadcast, connecting the different regions in a show of unity during this special occasion.

The Office of the President has been preparing for this event, with the objective of bringing necessary government services directly to the people. From health services to financial aid, the assistance covers various sectors aimed at improving the well-being of the underserved. This initiative is part of the administration’s commitment to inclusivity and direct support for communities in need.
