Setyembre 20, 2024, Caloocan City — Isang lalaki ang naaresto Biyernes ng Madaling Araw sa Barangay 176, Caloocan City matapos siyang maaktuhan ng mga awtoridad na nagtataglay ng ipinagbabawal na gamot at paglabag sa City Ordinance ng lungsod ang walang damit pang itaas sa pampublikong lugar.

Nakilala ang suspek sa pangalang  JODIE DEVERA y MARTINEZ, 23 taong gulang, walang trabaho. Nahuli ang suspek sa lugar ng Phase 10, Pkg. 2  Brgy.176, Bagong Silang Caloocan City.

Ayon sa ulat, habang nagsasagawa ng foot patrol ang mga PNP Personnel  ng West Bagong Silang Police SUBSTATION 12, may nakita silang isang lalaki na walang suot na damit pang itaas,habang abala sa kanyang hawak na bagay. Nang nilapitan ay biglang tumakbo ang  suspek.

Sa kanyang pagtakas, nahulog mula sa suspek ang Isang plastic sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 1 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng PHP 6,800.00. Dahil dito, agad siyang inaresto at binasahan ng kanyang karapatan.

Ang suspek ay na-turn over na sa Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) para sa karagdagang proseso at kasalukuyang nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 151 (Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority) at Section 11 ng RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
