Former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque Faces Arrest Over Alleged Links to Illegal Offshore Gaming Hub in Pampanga

Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque is currently embroiled in legal trouble after being cited for contempt by the House of Representatives’ quad committee. The committee, which is investigating his alleged involvement in an illegal offshore gaming hub in Porac, Pampanga, issued an arrest order when Roque failed to appear at several hearings despite repeated summonses. This has led to authorities branding him as a fugitive.

In response to the arrest order, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has ramped up efforts to find Roque. Tracker teams have been deployed in various locations in a bid to locate the former presidential spokesperson. An informant has allegedly provided the PNP with potential information about his whereabouts, although this intelligence is still undergoing verification.

The PNP is also looking into using Roque’s digital activity to aid in his capture. Authorities believe that tracing his online presence might offer leads on his location. The search for Roque continues, and the police are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to bring him into custody.

Roque, however, has staunchly denied any links to the illegal gaming operations in Pampanga. He claims the charges are baseless and politically motivated. According to Roque, the quad committee’s actions are part of a broader agenda aimed at tarnishing his reputation.

As authorities pursue him, Roque’s legal challenges have captured widespread public and media attention. Many are watching closely to see how this high-profile case will develop and whether Roque will ultimately face arrest and trial. The situation remains fluid, with tensions running high on both sides of the legal battle.
