Calamba City, Laguna – In a momentous achievement, Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal proudly accepted the Customer Service Award for Highest Resolution and Compliance Feedback from the Civil Service Commission during its 124th Anniversary. Calamba City stands as the only Local Government Unit (LGU) across the Philippines to be honored with this award, a testament to the city’s dedication to efficient public service.

In his message to the people of Calamba, Mayor Rizal emphasized the significance of the award, highlighting how the city’s compliance with the Anti-Red Tape Act (RA 11032) and Ease of Doing Business initiatives, coupled with the streamlined services offered by the Aksyon Center, were key contributors to this success.

“The CalamBAGOng leadership, under my direction, works tirelessly to improve and speed up processes within our local government,” Mayor Rizal stated. “This recognition is proof of the tangible reforms we have implemented.”

With the mantra “GAWA, HINDI SALITA” (Action, Not Words), MABILIS NA SERBISYONG DIRETSO SA TAO – Ganyan po kapag TAPAT MAGSILBI!” Mayor Rizal underscored the swift, direct services being delivered to the people of Calamba. The award, he added, is dedicated to all Calambeños as a reflection of the city’s continuous pursuit of excellence in governance.

Mayor Rizal closed his message with a heartfelt dedication to the residents, emphasizing that when leadership is honest and sincere, “TAPAT MAGSILBI,” real change can be felt across the community.

The city’s recognition is a proud moment not only for the local government but also for the residents of Calamba, showcasing the significant strides in improving government services for its people.
