Batangas – Pormal nang naghain ng kanyang kandidatura si dating Mayor Noel “Bitrics” Luistro noong Oktubre 3 para muling tumakbo bilang alkalde ng bayan ng Mabini.

Samantala, ang kanyang maybahay na si Atty. Gerville “Jinky” Luistro, kasalukuyang kinatawan ng ikalawang distrito ng Batangas, ay naghain din ng kanyang certificate of candidacy (COC) sa tanggapan ng COMELEC sa Kapitolyo ng Batangas para sa kanyang muling pagtakbo bilang kongresista.

Matatandaang inendorso na noon ni House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez ang mag-asawang Luistro, at hinimok ang mga Batangueño na suportahan sila sa darating na 2025 National Elections. Ibinigay ni Romualdez ang kanyang suporta nang dumalo siya sa isang groundbreaking ceremony para sa isang pampublikong paaralan sa Batangas.

Ang mag-asawang Luistro ay tumatakbo sa ilalim ng partidong LAKAS-CMD ni Speaker Romualdez. Kasama rin nila sa kanilang alyansa si dating Gobernador Vilma Santos Recto, na muling tatakbo para sa parehong posisyon, at hiniling din niya sa mga Batangueño na suportahan ang kanilang mga kaalyado sa partido.

Sa isang panayam, ipinahayag ni dating Mayor Noel “Bitrics” Luistro na kung palaring muling manalo bilang alkalde, kasama ang kanyang mga konsehal, ay pagtutulungan nilang mag-asawa na higit pang paunlarin ang bayan ng Mabini at itaas ang antas ng pamumuhay ng kanilang mga kababayan.
