Senator Alan Cayetano Brings Medical Relief to Laguna Residents in Magdalena Caravan

On Friday, October 11, 2024, the town of Magdalena, Laguna, became a center of healthcare support as 700 residents from across the province gathered for a medical outreach program spearheaded by Senator Alan Peter Cayetano. The event, held at the Barangay Poblacion Municipal Covered Court, provided a wide range of essential medical services to residents from Magdalena, Pagsanjan, Santa Cruz, and Santa Maria.

The outreach featured free medical consultations, X-ray and laboratory services, diabetes testing, and the distribution of much-needed medications. Families lined up to avail themselves of these vital services, aimed at improving their health and well-being. The turnout highlighted the ongoing need for accessible healthcare in the region.

In addition to the basic medical services, the program offered specialized procedures such as pap smears, ultrasounds, dental tooth extractions, and pneumococcal vaccines. These services addressed critical health concerns that residents may not otherwise have access to in their local communities.

The success of the event was a result of collaboration between Senator Cayetano and Santa Rosa, Laguna Lone District Representative Dan Fernandez. The partnership strengthened the outreach’s reach, ensuring that a broader range of residents could receive the care they needed.

This medical caravan is part of Senator Cayetano’s continuous efforts to promote healthcare accessibility and brighter futures for communities across the nation. His initiatives demonstrate a commitment to ensuring that even remote areas receive the medical attention they deserve.
