Top 4 Regional Level Most Wanted Person of PRO 8 and a non-PSR Listed CTG Member Arrested in Eastern Samar

Oras – On October 16, 2024, personnel from 122SAC, 12th Special Action Battalion and 153SAC, Force Support Battalion of SAF provided tactical support to the 801st Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 8 as lead unit during a counterinsurgency operation. Together with other PNP units, they successfully arrested alias Balagon in an operation conducted in Brgy. Agsam Oras, Eastern Samar.

The suspect is ranked as the Top 3 Regional Level Most Wanted Person of PRO 8 and was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest under Criminal Case No. 2023-18 for Murder and CC No. 2023-20 for Robbery both dated February 23, 2023 issued by Regional Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Branch 5, Oras, Eastern Samar. He is also a non-PSR listed CTG member under Regional Guerilla Unit, Eastern Visayas Regional Party Committee.

Oras MPS, Eastern Samar PPO took custody of the arrested person for documentation and proper disposition.

The successful operation is a testament to the tireless efforts and bravery of law enforcement units, who continue to work towards a more secure and peaceful Eastern Samar.
