QUEZON-Arestado sa bisa ng warrant of arrest sa mga kasong murder at kidnapping si Wigberto Villarico, aka Baylon, Secretary ng Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee, at mataas na Opisyal ng Politburo ng CPP-NPA-NDF sa Region 4A at Region 4B dakong alas 5:00 ng umaga kanina. (Oct.24) sa Fairview Quezon City.

Kilala din sa mga alias niyang Juventus Del Fierro, Lawrence, Joven, Mark, Cris, Valer, matagal ng pinaghahanap ng batas ang utak at pinuno ng mga NPA na siyang sinasabing pasimuno di umano ng mga krimen ng pagpatay, pangingidnap, panununog,at iba pang iligal na gawain ng mga NPA sa Katimogang Tagalog.

Iniwan ni Baylon ang mga kasamahang rebelde sa kabundukang kanilang pinagkukutaan sa kasagsagan at pananalasa ng bagyong Kristine at umuwi sa kanyang bahay sa Fairview,Quezon City kung saan doon na siya natunton at nasakote ng mga sundalo at pulis at tuluyan ng nadakip.

Ayon kay Phil.Army Col Dennis Caña tagapagsalita ng Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM) na nakabase sa Camp. Guillermo Nakar sa lunsod ng Lucena malaking kabawasan at kahinaan sa pwersa ng hanay ng mga CPP-NPA-NDF ang sunod sunod na pagkakahuli sa mga matataas na pinuno ng makakaliwang grupo na kumakalaban sa gobyerno.
