Vice Governor Karen Agapay Provides Hot Meals and Relief Packs to Thousands Affected by Typhoon in Laguna

In response to the recent typhoon’s impact on Laguna, Vice Governor Atty. Karen Agapay is personally leading relief efforts across various evacuation centers. Through her Office of the Vice Governor (OVG), she has organized the distribution of hot meals and essential relief packs to support families displaced by the disaster.

The OVG Hot Meals initiative, under the campaign #KalingaAtAgapay, recently served freshly prepared hot meals to a total of 2,683 evacuees in Calamba, Cabuyao, Santa Rosa City, and Biñan City. The team visited evacuation sites in Balibago, Macabling, Malitlit, and Malaban, offering a warm meal and a message of hope to residents seeking shelter.

In addition to hot meals, Vice Governor Agapay’s office has distributed over 1,042 relief packs containing rice and canned goods to affected families. These packs, funded by Vice Governor Agapay herself, were distributed at evacuation sites in San Pablo City, Calamba City, and San Pedro City.

Vice Governor Agapay continues to express her dedication to supporting Laguna communities during these trying times, stating, “Kaya natin ito mga ka-agapay” (We can do this, dear partners). Her actions reinforce the values of resilience and unity in the face of adversity, ensuring that those affected receive not only essential aid but also compassion and support.
