PSR Listed CTG Member Arrested in Surigao del Sur

Tagbina, Surigao del Sur – On October 29, 2024, personnel from 14SAC, 1st Special Action Battalion of SAF provided tactical support to the elements of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Surigao del Sur PFU, as lead unit and other PNP units, during the successful arrest of alias Axle in a counterinsurgency operation conducted in Tagbina, Surigao del Sur.

The suspect is a PSR listed CTG member of Squad 2 under Platoon Apitong, SRSDG Westland, North Eastern Mindanao Regional Committee and a Top 9 Most Wanted Person of PRO13. He was Arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest under Criminal Case No. 6984 for Murder, CC No. 6985 for Frustrated Murder with recommended bail of PhP200,000.00 both dated July 22, 2021 and CC No. 7227, dated May 11, 2022 for Attempted Murder with recommended bail of PhP120,000.00 all issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 7, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur.

CIDG Surigao del Sur PFU took custody of the arrested suspect for documentation and proper disposition.

The successful operation is a manifestation of the strong commitment of SAF and other law enforcement agencies to fighting insurgency and maintaining peace and order in the region.
