Mayor Roseller Ross H. Rizal proudly inaugurated the “Grand Trabaho Expo” at the Jose Rizal Coliseum, Calamba City, Laguna, an event connecting local job seekers with over 80 companies ready to hire. The Expo is designed to offer diverse employment opportunities that align with the various skills and interests of Calamba’s residents, helping them achieve financial stability and career growth.

“Through the Grand Trabaho Expo, we’re helping job seekers uncover countless opportunities alongside more than 80 companies who stand with us today. These companies offer a wide range of positions suited to our citizens’ varied skills and interests,” Mayor Rizal shared, underscoring the city’s commitment to inclusive growth. “In this initiative, all job seekers—regardless of age or gender—are given equal chances to secure employment, support their families, and achieve their dreams of financial stability.”

The event, which has drawn hopeful job applicants from Calamba and surrounding areas, marks another stride in Mayor Rizal’s ongoing efforts to implement “Ramdam Na Reporma” and foster a “CalamBAGO”—a reformed and progressive Calamba. The Grand Trabaho Expo offers residents a platform to meet potential employers, submit resumes, and attend interviews on-site.

Mayor Rizal concluded his message with encouragement for all job seekers and advance congratulations to those securing new roles. “Good luck to all job seekers, and congratulations in advance! May today be a day of opportunity, guided by faith and unity in our community.”

With the Expo, Calamba continues to uplift its residents, setting a course for long-term prosperity and community resilience.
